Dr. Shannon Moon is an autodidact that is passionately interested in  Affective Computing, Cognitive Psychology, Augmented Reality, Flight, Soaring,  Virtual Reality, Simulation, Flight Training,  Human-Computer Interaction, and Aeronautical Sciences.

She is a licensed aircraft pilot (Airplane Single Engine Land, Single Engine Sea, and Glider/Sailplane) , is a H2 rated Hanglider pilot, and holds a Remote Pilot license for sUAS (small Unmanned Aircraft Systems).

Shannon hold a doctoral degree, in Computer Science, and is a Principal Engineer at the Walt Disney Company, where she works in social technology.  She holds a BSSE (Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering).  Shannon is a Harvard alumna, having earned a  Master of Liberal Arts from Harvard University, with a concentration in Information Management Systems. She holds a number of software development industry certifications, (ITIL, PM, MCSD, MCSE, SCJP, etc.) .
